As a Residential HVAC Service Expert, you'll be the friendly face our customers trust for maintenance, repairs, and system performance solutions. This is not a sales-only role, you'll be diagnosing real problems, educating homeowners, and recommending the right solutions, with opportunities for commission and performance-based pay.

What You'll Do

• Diagnose and repair HVAC systems in existing residential homes
• Perform routine maintenance and tune-ups
• Clearly explain technical issues and solutions to homeowners
• Provide upgrade recommendations to improve home comfort
• Record service information accurately using mobile software
• Maintain a clean, safe, and respectful presence in customer homes
• Drive and maintain a company-provided vehicle (tall-roof van)
• Stay current with training and attend monthly team meetings
• Uphold company values of honesty, professionalism, and service excellence

What We're Looking For

• 1 or more years of experience in residential HVAC service
• An Oregon driver's license with a clean driving record
• Comfortable working in crawlspaces, attics, and tight conditions
• Strong communication skills and a customer-first mindset
• Coachable, accountable, and process-driven team mentality
• EPA certification (preferred, not required)
• Employment is subject to passing a background check and drug screening. Home Heating & Cooling maintains a drug-free workplace policy, which includes the prohibition of marijuana use.

Compensation & Benefits

• Full time position
• Base salary at $75,000 to $95,000 per year
• Total Earning Potential of $125,000 plus, per year with commissions and performance bonuses
• 100% company-paid Health Insurance for silver-level plan after 90 days
